The Coronation is now not too far away, we are hoping to decorate the club with bunting and flags for the weekend. If you have any spare please let us know.
On Coronation day there is a mixed match away at Nuneaton in the afternoon. Then on Sunday 7th we host the first round of the ladies Sunday Trophy bowls league, please come along and support.
On Monday 8th May we are planning a fun day ‘The Crazy Bowls Day’, All members are welcome to enter for some fun bowling activities. Players will be put into one of four teams. Everyone is welcome to come along and watch the fun unfold.
After the bowling we are planning a tea of Hot Roast Beef Rolls, followed by cream scones/cheese and biscuits. The bar will be open to help get you in the spirit. Bowlers £7 and any spectators who would like food afterwards it is £5.
There is a limit to how many can participate and quite a few of you have already put your name down. To reserve your place please contact me as soon as possible, or put your name down on the sheet which will be on the notice board from Friday evening.
Tickets are also available for the raffle being run throughout April, I will be at the club on Friday social evening with these. The draw for the Buckingham Palace Whiskey, the celebration cake and more will be made on the 8th May
Then on Tuesday 9th May we are hosting a match between Middlesex County and Warwickshire County men. The club will be open in the afternoon for you to enjoy the game and of course the bar will be open.
